Gentle Bed & Sofa Sessions for Low Energy Days
Supportive movement and relaxation designed for people living with ME/CFS, fibromyalgia, and Long Covid

When moving feels too much, you can still Feel Better

There are days when even gentle exercise feels impossible — when getting out of bed or off the sofa takes all your energy.

Feel Better Rest is a brand-new weekly class designed exactly for those days.

These sessions are led by Jenny Oakenfull, a movement professional who lives with ME/CFS and truly understands how energy levels can fluctuate. You’ll be guided through gentle, soothing practices that help your body and mind feel calmer, lighter, and more at ease — all from the comfort of your bed or sofa.

What to Expect

Each Feel Better Rest session includes:
 🧠 Mindset and gentle reflection – simple tools to ease frustration and support emotional wellbeing  
🌬️ Breathing practices – calm your nervous system and feel more centred  
🤲 Gentle lying-down movements – support flexibility, circulation, and comfort without exhaustion  
💤 Deep relaxation – rest your body and mind with soothing guided relaxation  
💬 Connection and community – a chance to chat at the beginning and share with others who understand

When and where

🕙 Every Tuesday, 10–11am (UK time)
📍 Live on Zoom – join from your bed or sofa
                                         💻 Recordings provided – revisit any part or catch up if you miss a session

                                                       These sessions have funding support, making them accessible to more people.
You can choose what you pay each month:  
£3 per week  
£5 per week  
                      £7.50 per week (full price)  
                                              All classes are booked in monthly blocks, and your first class is free to try.

Jenny Oakenfull

I am a self-confessed movement geek. I love exploring how the body moves and how powerful the connection between how we think and move is. Movement has always been a big part of my life, I grew up doing a lot of sport and competing at an international level. In 2006 I was diagnosed with ME/CFS, and determined to keep movement in my life I improved my health, energy levels and quality of life through yoga and nutrition. I went on to qualify as a yoga teacher and a nutritionist. I now specialise in back care and pain management through movement.

Restore Your Core Teacher, Dru Yoga teacher, Dru Back Care and Wellbeing Diploma, Dru Kids and Teens Teacher, Baby Yoga Teacher, S.A.C Dip (Clinical Nutrition), CPD in all the major joints of the body
